I just have to ask: why are you showing their size with a 1980s or ’90s dubbeltje (that is, a Dutch 10-cent coin)? (As trivia for those who don’t know how big that is: it’s the size of the hole in a CD.)
Jakko...........gotcha!! I put that coin there for a couple of reasons, as a size reference, and also to see if you would bite..........and you did! Well done, your powers of observation are amazing. Oh and I have been to the Nederlands.....that little "tidbit" came home with me. Rick H.
Going for an NMM finish on that one then Pete? Not something I’ve ever tried. Come to that, never tried a big old’ robot either..... I remember Wotan (I think) doing a whole Mustang in NMM a few years ago. Vince Ventruella does a couple of good tutorials on you tube if you need them.
Postie just dropped this off - an ebay bargain!
Bit of an oddball - it's a reboxing of a Mirage Hobby kit, as far as I know, the only one that Airfix issued. Has all parts for the original US Navy four-piper.

Just received some paint from Gravity in Spain for an upcoming build. What was particularly impressive is these left their facility in Malaga at 10.39 yesterday morning, and arrived at my house in London at just after 12.00 today!
So a very small arrival in all ways. A metal barrel to replace the one for the 1/72 resin Challenger (WW2 version) I have. Even before it arrived for my birthday last December, I was worried about it being a bit fragile......but as you can see that was the least of my worries!
