not sure how 'good' the brushes are, feel fairly 'soft', but will have to give them a go with some paints (but will at least be ok for scenery in any case)

Too right Gerry ,I've got some of the same type of brushes from Lidi , perfect for that sort of thing, had then some time now and still good.

Think that she's trying to get me back into modelling (probably fed up with me moping around the house)

Got my Sd.Kfz 251/1 through today. Not bad for 12.45 delivered. I was after the Ausf.D kit but there is a suggestion on some sites this is an Ausf.C.

If that is so i'm sure i can utilise it somewhere else.

                          I blame this forum completely!!
So the latest (AND LAST!!) arrival: got a very good deal on some Stalingrad (the brand, not the battle) resin tank riders, so of course needed something to go with them. And who else to ask for advice on this wonderful variant, than BattleshipBob who kindly educated me. Kept half an eye on ebay and next thing I know...the postie brings this.

Alan, the box illustration is a C. I'm pretty sure almost all were of welded construction. This may be an early version C.

It is. The D is easy to recognise because the rear is one large overhang, not pointed halfway like here. (There are other differences but this is the easiest to spot.)
