That's a brand new tooling I believe? Well be interested to know that you think.

So I bought my next, 3rd model. I enjoyed building the tamiya spitfire but I felt I could have done with more assembly so now I propably went to the other extreme and bought the 1/700 Trumpeter Roma kit. I suspect I don’t know what I have got myself into.... purchased PE parts as well

After seeing Carl's ( Defiant911 ) Trumpeter Dreadnought 1907 under construction, I decided I had to try the wooden decks ( tried once before, with bad results - Revell Emden ). I think I'm going to go for a waterline model, perhaps at anchor, with boats in the water & maybe the torpedo nets rigged - although that last part could be a bit too far!
I've got PE add-ons and now I'm thinking on a suitable base - project for the future..................

Unable to find the original matchbox kit I did find the revell reboxing but I won't say how much I paid for it. Click image for larger version

Well all I can say is, I must have one of the best wife’s ever. She doesn’t mind me building models, or bringing kits home. But she doesn’t like the subject matter that much, ie war planes and tanks. So without me knowing she bought me this.

Second-hand from another modeller, who apparently had never even opened them …

I would love to get my hands on one of those kits, and even more to actually get round to building it (which would be rather unlikely ). Always liked the Lysander, for some strange reason.

Yes Tony very surprised and very grateful. I’ll not be moaning when she goes shopping while I build this.
