With so much hype over kits with full interiors, I decided to find out what the noise was all about and snagged this off evilbay for €35,08,

It's a box loaded with over 60 sprues, 2 etch frets and some really tiny decals on the sheet,

I also found these 4 puppys, all from the same seller and got away cheap in the bids,

The crate and box set also has resin stuff, including decals, from Verlinden in it too. Really happy for €27 delivered....This hit work a bit over 2 weeks ago and again I had to see it for myself as there was a discussion on here earlier about the really old ESCI figures that are included. Again, a real bargain off evilbay for €26,99 delivered,

I have the old RSO kit and this one looks a bit better for wear, tear and molding. The figures included look like this (not the best pics),

Somehow they remind me of the old Tamiya figs with their facial expressions and poses. All in all, they look like they have survived pretty well after all these years. The molding isn't really as bad as I had thought it would be....

Now on a side note....Since I have purchased these things, I have sold 7 full kits out of the stash. I am being a good boy and the buy vs. sell ratio ain't too shabby either..........I deserve a cold one!!!!

        Prost
        Allen
Allen, the figures with the RSO are ex ESCI figures and are slightly bigger than 1/35. Doesn't matter if you don't mix them with the other figures.

        Cheers,
        Richard

That’s something I haven’t seen for many years….an etched brass Hoover kit! I seem to remember them finishing their revenue earning service on my local main line…Where are you sourcing the bogies from Peter?

Spent quite a few summer Saturdays spotting at ESD in 1974-1977. They were brought down from the midlands to replace the Westerns and Peaks around then, so were not that popular….later they replaced cromptons on the Waterloo - ESD line. All a bit soulless nowadays!
