Order placed Tuesday AM with the shop, received just now.

Vallejo running low and Tony (yak face) had recommended these in my Lightning ll build.
Accompanying this was some Tamiya extra thin quick set and thick cyno…hardly worth mentioning really.

I have been asked to build a 1:350 model (by Hasegawa (Z27)) of USS Gambier Bay (CVE-73). This was a US Navy Escort Carrier famous for the first (emergency) landing on deck of a Hellcat, taking down Japanese aircraft during assaults on Saipan, finally succumbing at 0911 Hrs, 25th October 1944, 6 miles East of Samar Island in the engagement with the Japanese force including Yamato at Leyte Gulf.
Has anybody any experience of building this ugly (but brave) duckling? It even comes with a poster of the box art!

Should imagine they will be as good as their other products that you have in the stash.

Hi I got these a few weeks back acupuncture needles they make exceptionally good radio antenna masts, I was told about them by Marcos Serra from the Facebook page Panzer bunker.

I need much more practice to iron out the numerous problems building Daring, all my own fault!

Much small PE fret and not many parts, so hopefully will go better, just ordered Mr Color paints from John. One problem i find with trumpeter is they list Tamiya paint but not for every colour?

With the trumpeter I'm doing they just mark out the bits to be painted in the build, everything not marked seems to be main body colour.

Just returned after my second part of my tour of all things south of the M4. If you remember we talked about supporting your local model shops when on holiday and Tim suggested Frome Model Shop. So after a long hike up the steep cobblestones I was rewarded with a wonderful shop full of everything you could hope for. The stuff they didnt have they ordered in and will post out to me once in. Fantastic service

I also popped into Dunks Model Shop at Trowbridge. This place was rammed with kits and a few accessories.

We also went to a car boot while driving around and I finally got a mini vice for the bench and some more wire

Now I always tell myself not to buy any more books as the house is rammed with them but I coudnt resist as I do like my maps

Finally today postie sent through my prize winning kit from John Paulding as my reward for winning Best in Show at this years MAFVA Online Competition.
