    spraying klear over ts-13 clear

    hi

happy new year ive just finished re-painting and re-applying the decals for my lcr honda i gave it a couple of coats of tamiya ts-13 clear before applying the decals now im wondering after the last attempt where i sprayed the ts-13 and it melted the decals im thinking of giving it a coat of klear instead is this a good idea or should i just stick to giving it several mist coats of the ts-13 incase the klear and ts-13 dont get on and im back too square 1.

Klear over the lacquer based tamiya will be fine, the other way round would likely have the Klear reacting, (Klear is essentially an Acrylic)

Steve ,I've done this a lot with no ill effect. I agree with Mike the other way around would be a risky venture. Good luck and let us know how it turns out,Trey
