Jessie reminds me of our Zsar Zsar...she's the old lady of the house and the rest of the motley crew avoid her out of respect as she can give them the evil eye...the left eye that cannot close and is blind. They look perfectly alright when she has the other eye open.

        Cheers,
        Richard

Amazing how patient and quiet they can be - except when they're waiting for you to feed them! Then it's non-stop wailing and fussing around you.

Bit lucky there. The only time my cats got into my modelling room, they managed to knock my 1/35 Leopold gun onto the floor, completely wrecking it; and my 1/35 Dora railway gun is now missing an assortment of railings and steps!

                          I got questions.

I've already said I feed my cats with both wet pouches of meat and dry food in the form of biscuits.

Anybody with a brain knows that cats are carnivores - so how come the petfood manufacturers are making their dried biscuits out of 90%+ vegetable matter? Are they trying to turn our cats into herbivores? And if they succeed, what by the names of all the Gods are they going to do to stop us being totally overrun by rats and mice!?

The reason the pet food manufacturers use so much vegetable "filler" material is cost.....meat is expensive, profit margins are where it's at.

I guess I should have known that Rick. 99 times out of a 100 the answer to the question "Why don't they .....?" is money. Unfortunately here it's MY money 'cos I have to buy the more expensive stuff as my cats won't touch the cheapo 'vegetable' options! And even with the expensive brands, there's far too much veg and not enough meat.
