    Phone Problem

    HI ALL well ive a problem with my mobile phone as im with vodaphone an their bloomin computer keeps sending me messages sayin WARSHIP DAY REMINDER at 2am till 4am every few minutes an ive tried telling them to stop doin it everything bar sending them a love letter an it keeps flattening my battery on my phone any ideas anyone ?

      Is there anywhere on the messages that says “unsubscribe “? If so, click that and follow the instructions. If not, don’t know I’m afraid….

          You may find if you press and hold the message for a couple of seconds you can block/mute/unsubscribe or what have you? Good luck.

            Chris,
            I'm rather old fashioned, I turn my mobile off when I go to bed & on when I get up. That way I don't get any late night/early morning calls. My answerphone takes care of the landline! I can't think why anyone would want to call me at those hours, not legitimately anyway!

              Same here Dave, used to get messages at all hrs, so off it went

                  My phone stays downstairs at night but my wife insists on having hers on the bedside table - "Suppose there's an emergency" is her excuse. We have never had "an emergency" but I not going to argue and so I still have a bleeping phone at silly o'clock at night!! :rolling: :sad:

                    hi dale yes ive treid that an no joy it will stop it an then about 10mins later off it starts again till 4am but cheers for you reply

                      AN HI Dave yes its a good idea to be old fashioned, an turn off the phone which i have done countless times but this ole vodaphone computer just takes over my phone an starts the calls its crazy as if im awake i'll just stop the call an then ten mins or so later its off again an its also contacting a lady freind as i told her about a warship day as her an her hubby come up the pond to our warship days an she rang sayin chris will you please stop ringing me in the early hrs an i exsplained it to her about its the computer doin it an not me an she now understands but its crazy isnt it

                        AN Bob yes the phone is turned off at night an jen wakes me up to say its ringin again but that bleedin vodaphone computer restarts my phone to ring an ive told them to stop ringing but no joy

                              Working on a practical solution…..wrap it in a towel and shut it in a drawer or cupboard. At least you won’t hear it then….
