Merry Christmas Mr. Smiff, Rach and Cohan!!! No, the WNW kits don't include figs, but I found two sets from Copper State Models that were marked down for it. Should get them next week. Eduard does make nice kits, especially in 1/48. Of course, 1/32 kits are a bit pricey, but easier (I hope) to do the rigging on them...You guys have a good one and Ho, Ho, Ho Andy!!!...

Don’t know about 1/32 being easier to rig Allen. At that scale you probably need turnbuckles. You can get away without them in 1/48……nice kit, by the way.Merry Christmas Mr. Smiff, Rach and Cohan!!! Thanks, and true Tim, but WNW states in their instructions you shouldn't use them. I don't know why as I'm not a wing thingy builder. There's something about these kits from WNW that I love!!!

Here's wishing you and the family (I realize that some have to work) a very Merry Christmas and a healthy New Year. I also look forward to more of your fantastic lawn ornament work next year...

Biplanes are a right minefield when you start looking into them……some of the wings are semi transparent, and some of the rigging is flat……and some of it is different cross sectional sizes. The bigger the scale, the more noticeable this is……fabulous looking contraptions though. Perhaps you could start a group build for them later next year Comment

Two completely different type of kits I was lucky enough to receive, the figures from my brother in law,and the plane from Rach..... She must've been spying on my posts, because,a while back on Ron's thread I said,"always wanted to have a go at one of these, but in 1/48th that just ain't gonna happen"..... and now it has!! :smiling3: .... and, unsurprisingly, what a MAHOOSIVE box!!! ....

Can't help noticing that the big thing has sticky out protrusions from the body....I think they're called wings?!?!

This wingy malarky seems to be catching given my recent purchases!! But mum's the word!! Don't want the dedicated wingy people to catch on!! :smiling5: :smiling5:

All the best to you and your family over the festive period!!

 ATB.
