            Just read his Malta book.... Not read any of his stuff before and really enjoyed it, so for two quid thought it worth a punt

              Not read any of his books yet,but he's great to listen to on the History documentaries..... One of the very best IMHO

                I thought his Battle of Britain book was excellent. He’s a good live speaker as well.

                  Not heard him live yet but I recently discovered his podcasts with Al Murray and am really enjoying them.

                    Really productive...a model shop that close...walking distance is too lose for comfort for me...SWMBO can easily walk over and wack me in the head. :tears-of-joy:

                      HI all well ive finally got my turret gear ring came by postie this morn an its big but have to hope the gears teeth will mesh in with my big gears up in model room but just lookin at it its looks fairly near the gear teeth size so fingers crossed actual size chrisb Click image for larger version

                          HI Andrew yes it is but now got to exspeiyment to see what i can do with it to work the main big gun turret an the small gun turret will also hopefully work off this but will see what happens but will it mesh with my gears is the big dont know

                              cheers Tim yes it will an ive tried the gear teath to some of my gears an hooray they mesh in lovley so now got to get the ole brain revved up an in gear to work out a solution to get the turret to turn whoa

                                I've checked it - the engine & rear suspension have been very neatly assembled ( no paint ), the rest is still in bags, or on the sprue, including the decals & transparencies. For the total of £10.50 delivered, I think this is another bet that's paid off!
