So I've been fairly restrained this month but these arrived this week.......
First up is this, for my Mossie GB kit.....I have discovered a possibly fatal flaw in my plan and I am hoping this will help address it in part....
Second up was this, in what can only be described as a world class display of spinelessness!
When Mike aka mog recommended this in his great PT boat dio (HERE), I had a quick look thought it sounded interesting and found a very good quality second-hand paper back one for little over £4 delivered, which that was begging to be bought.....and so I felt obliged!

Another gift by a friend from his brother's stash, a recently departed modeller. (see also here LINK )
It's a finely molded figure (in spite of some spelling problems) with only one main mistake: the helmet should carry on the left side, the Italian mountain troops mark: the black (traditionally crow) feather, and a really challenging painting scheme
The 4 colours are not so important as I can choose the "age" of the BDU: different production batches, field washing (usually at high temperature and with aggressive soaps) and field use allow a large choice of tones.
The main problem will be correctly painting the BDU pattern....unless I find the Italian BDU version of this very smart paint :rolling:

Finally got a model at the car boot ! £2 secured this Airfix Hurricane mk1 in the early twin bladed prop fabric winged version . This particular boxing with the RAF 1938 bastille day flypast markings or Belgian air force markings wasnt produced for long and subsequently is quite sought after , i could probably flip it on ebay and get 15 quid for it . I’m not of course because it looks a beautiful little kit , a different and far more detailed tooling than the sea hurricane mkIIC I did a bit back . Heres a pic , I might do an inbox review sometime too.Comment

Just arrived for my winter projects. I’ve never used masks for aircraft markings before so a new skill to learn.
A friend has asked me to build a Lightning for her classroom, the school’s classes have aircraft names and I’ve done a few already.
If I’d known the paint masks for the Flagon were made in Russia I wouldn’t have bothered.
