It's a Amati gripper vice, the metal pegs can be placed in a variety of holes for holding, hope it will be of great help?

Finally got a model at the car boot ! £2 secured this Airfix Hurricane mk1 in the early twin bladed prop fabric winged version .

Oh my Days! I like that. if only it was 1/48....Hmm Nope Not kitted in 1/48 (anymore Classic airframes had one but.....Never had one of their kits where the canopies are even close to fitting)!.
I will enjoy seeing you work you magic Tony.
