You’ll enjoy that Steve. I’ve been using the XL for a while and its well made and performs as expected. Tough as well, the cat knocked mine off the desk and it survived with no issues….unlike the carpet!
Looks like the book is a freebie, it’s available from the web site. I’ve got the side attachment, but have found that’s not quite so good as they say. The surface stains too easily. Prefer my ceramic palette for washes etc….

              Hi Lee
Academy kits. Not seen as often as they deserve. Interested to see how they build up.

I’d be interest in your honest opinion of this Dave. I can’t find stynylrez anywhere at a reasonable price. I have (and use) the Vallejo stuff but don’t like it if it needs sanding. I’m therefore stuck with cellulose based primer until I find an acrylic primer that sands to a feather edge and sticks properly.

We had a cat that started life with us exactly like her .Stayed under the bed until he settled in and then ran the house, including our Doberman who kept her distance .

Nothing as exciting as a new cat , or like Nick's recent arrivals .
Here this morning at Race Towers post room they received this.

.5 mm nozzle, needle and front .
The glue came from a different supplier.
Now I can get on with the build .

                          Hi Nick
That 3D printed stuff looks superb. A look at the future of the hobby - maybe

                            A`noon all,
                            Well,just a couple of recent purchases,strangely enough,both Flying fing related:thinking:!!
First up,some crew figures for my Mustang, whether the GB gets going or not.Not seen this type of packaged set before,(A small glossy "envelope",about 6"x4" ),but i have to admit the detail quality i think is superb.... especially for the scale ........

Secondly, something else that i hadn`t seen before, but decided to give one a go.As you can see this one is for WW2 Luftwaffe aircraft,(I have a 262 and a Butcher Bird as candidates),they also do various era and nationalities.I know it`s cheating really, and yes,i normally scratch build all my Bases/Dios.... HOWEVER,as a quick fix for a plane it appears quite nice.Good colouring and sharp finish.......(Edit: unlike this photo!!:flushed
