Some of you may remember that the M32 tank recovery vehicle that I’m building (but is sort of on hold right now) came about because I mentioned wanting to build an M31, but the only kit of that was out of production. Well, it seems to be back in, so I got one while I could Also the Takom VT 1-2, because I wanted to build that when I first saw photos of the real one some years ago, and now there is a kit! Add in some books about eras that interest me …

Pike and shot tactics seems incongruous when placed by the others Jakko. Are you looking to create a push of pike diorama

Yeah, it’s a misprint: the actual title is Pike and Shot Tactics 1970–1980, it covers the attempted employment of blocks of pikemen in the REFORGER exercises, to see how well they would fare in keeping Warsaw Pact horsed cavalry out of West Germany

I've just started building a wargames army for the 30years war, good thing about the period is there wasn't really any uniforms so the bulk of units can be used for different armies.

Warlords plastic for the bulk of the army, cost is the factor there, I like their Walkensteins Lifeguard too, haven't seen croats I really like anywhere.

Really Paul, Resin??? Thought you hated that stuff buddy..........

I went to a small show yesterday in Ergolding, near Landshut. I forgot to check to check my camera battery, so I couldn't take any photos...Old age I guess. It's focus and the items for sale were mainly wing thingy related and in smaller scales. I fought the strong urge to buy a 1/48 Ju-88G-6 Nachtjäger from Dragon, factory sealed, for €25. My better sense won in the end......There were very few armor kits and such in 1/35, so I got some reference materials I've wanted,

And finally, a book I have wanted since it came out in 2019. Not cheap I'm afraid, but worth every Pfenning,

This and the Panzerwrecks 24 book have QR codes you can scan and then see where some of the vehicles actually were located using Gurgle Street. I've only quickly looked through about 60 pages so far and it's really impressive with top pics............

                        Prost
