Found a couple of things I have been after for a while:
Something as basic as a half decent sanding stick

And this little gem that was sold out befor I could get hold of one! Then I found one on line in a shop in Denmark! Bonus.

That’s the thing: the M35 gun system was not just the gun, but also a streamlined ammo bin on each side above the skids:

(from Bell AH-1 Cobra by Mike Verier, Osprey, 1990)
The box art shows that bin on the right-hand side, so they didn’t just recycle a painting from an AH-1G without the M35.Comment

A fast delivery by postie - an ebay goodie
1996 Revell reboxing of 1990 Pit-Road model ( later by Dragon as well ).
- rather stingy with the planes! a TBM Avenger & a F9F Panther & that's it, but I do have a few appropriate spares.........
A 'best offer' of £15 delivered was a very good price, I reckon

Not the most exciting, but very useful - a number (more than shown in the photo - of wargame bases made from 2mm MDF, three size: 6cm x6cm, 6cm x 8cm and 6cm x 12cm which are for my 1/285 micro dioramas. previously I made my own using 5mm MDF but saw these and for a few quid they are all exactly the same size, and a lot less effort. i will mount them on small pieces of oak.
