Ran out of TET, this time I'll reorder one as soon as the first is empty.
Looking fwd to trying out the ca looper, as I normally end up with a mess .

Paints are replacement stock esp the weathered wood as going over to AK 3RD GEN as I replace.

Olderthanme, the cheap Panther is for a project of a pic in my book Panzers in Berlin 1945, and could well be a 'Alf a Panther' when built. Also, I need spare parts and not something for lunch!!!...

Don't blame me for the rain either , it's the fault of the French this time .
Dude 2, I'll have you know that my heavy bearing shelves now have inter-woven road wheels on them, like a Panther or Tiger does!!! they reduce the weight-to-floor pressure per square inch immensely. No need for extra support from underneath. About my purchases...

Seeing how 'Admiral' Bob has gone all floaty on us and Mr. Smiff hasn't come out of puberty yet, with all his wing thingy's, I feel I have to keep the ground forces end of the stick going. It's a strange time we're going though it seems!!!...........

Sorry Mods for going off topic a tad, but I felt an answer was due for the comments.....

        Apparently it's a cracking kit,so I'm rather chuffed :smiling3:
Mr. Smiff, I don't want to be a kill joy, but you might want to read this before you start building this kit www.scale-models.co.uk/threads/gwh-p61a-black-widow-1-48.39581/ It's BarryW's build of it...

Interesting to see what your opinion is on the CA glue loopers. I still use sharpened cocktail sticks and my trusty cut down sowing needles but keep looking at these….

After my original quick release coupling for my airbrush packed in the other day, I realised how much hassle it saved me in changing & cleaning the brush ( not having to bleed the tank down ). Couldn't do without it - so £5 delivered is really worth it - an essential airbrush accessory!

              Hi Allen,
You`re not being a Killjoy mate ,it`s good of you to give a heads Up.
Just had a look at his thread, all i can say is ,"One man`s meat...."
I read a couple of reviews before bidding on this particular kit,and they were full of praise for it, giving it a full on "Thumbs up":thumb2:,so i`ll approach the build without trepidation, but bearing his comments in mind:nerd:.
              Cheers Buddy,

Ebay - search "Quick Release Airbrush Coupling" - careful, some come from China & will take a while to arrive, but mine was UK supplied in 3 days................ - there are bundles with the coupling ( hose side ) & several plug connectors ( the airbrush side ), but all my airbrushes are fitted with them already!, so I got the cheapest UK supplied part!

It’s been mentioned before, but you can save money (and waste) by ordering Tamiya airbrush cleaner instead and pouring it into the now-empty TET bottle. The two have the same constituents and only differ in that they’re mixed in a slightly different ratio.

Hi Si, having tried sticks, bit of old wire, needles with the top part of the eye removed , and drips from the bottle I decided it's time to have a go .
Bob the StuG also has a set , he is going to do a review as well .

Hope all the family are ok .

Chances are they are exactly the same. Laws in Japan forbid two different products to contain the same things In the same proportion. Thus one product is 49% of the one thing and 51L5 of the other, the other product is the other way round. Chances are it's even made in the same vat.

Glue loppers are also good for the extra thin as well

, rather a long video but right at the end he mentions this .You've probably seen it .

Thought it was well known. but hay ho. now you can buy a 1/4 liter for the price of two jars.

Well My new compressor turned up yesterday. Opened it today. Its just another AS186a thing so no picture. However, I have now got a handfull of airlines that all have 1/4" thread connecters. What size does the compressor have...... 1/8.. So now ordered a new hose. 1/8 in both ends!!! lol

(there was a oily residue in the old hoses, so they are binned! Now I fully understand why my paint randomly spat out a think gloopy splat once in a while. Funny as the oil/moisture traps are as clean and dry as the day they where fitted!)
