Just saw a video on YouTube Eduards New decals.
The carrier film is on the top and once the decals are dry, you peel the film off leaving a "painted on look".
Could not find any info on Eduards webshop but a Google of "Eduards new decals" does the trick.
They look rather good when done!Comment

Can't even begin to comprehend how long that took..... And at 1/72 too...... That said I can't imagine the factory employees or ground crew or whoever painted it on being to pleased either!Comment

Peeling the carrier away seems awkward to me as well, and is certainly not for everyone. However, the bonus is that you have no carrier film “step“ in the finish afterwards and the risk of silvering must be materially reduced as it’s usually the clear carrier film that causes that problem. Like most things, it seems worth a try.Comment
