The later type, with loader’s machine gun, and some more upgrades like smoke launchers and anti-radiation cladding, by the looks of it.

The comments about Dragon correcting things on the Tiger pope’s say so made me smile…..the obvious come back was “do you have any influence over their build instructions as well” ……. No good it being correct if no one knows which bit goes where……

              Thanks Bob....

Probably explains why I've never heard of him. I've not seriously looked at building a Tiger since I came back to the hobby.....as I said I have no axe to grind where he's concerned but his opinion did seem to carry a lot of weight and I had no idea why.

He helps Dragon with these Tigers apparently, do not know why the makers of the new 1 16 Tiger did not ask him for advice?

Thanks Jakko. Not come across that one before. If I do ever do a Tiger I'll make sure to look him up.

Coming off the flat wagon like that? There are pictures of that sort of thing being done, IIRC, but most I can remember are with a pile of sleepers along the side of it to make it a lot easier. Why are they doing it with the tank basically combat-ready, though? (Machine gun on the hatch, no cover on the muzzle brake, turret rotated, etc.)

Doing it that way would almost certainly derail the wagon……..and probably damage it’s running gear at the same time…..wouldn’t do a lot for the tank when it hits the ground nose first I should think either.
