Oh Alex! The innocence of youth!

Ask Peter Gillson how safe it is; or Barry W what his next kit is likely to cost or anyone like me who's stash has got out of control! I may have room for other vices in my life (I won't comment on what they are) but I don't have any room left in my house!:smiling3:

        Still better than smoking though!

Well done Ian, good luck with kicking the habit, no it's not easy but worth it in the end.
I smoked for 20 years, given up 13 years this year. (Might start again, the wifes cooking tasted better back then! :flushed: :tears-of-joy: )

Well I have made it to 14 days today, so I hope that the worse is over. Not that it's been that bad to be honest. I think that I have thought about it twice, both times after a good dinner!
Reading of all that have stopped for many years ago and stayed stopped gives me hope and well done to you all.
Let's see if I can get to a month!

Well done Ian. You should be proud of yourself. You're already healthier, wealthier and smell better! Tony's got a good point - how much have you saved already.

Meh. If I wanted anything like that, I would finish my slo - mo off.
Unfortunately the only Ferrari I would ever consider owning would be a Dino and they dont come cheap.

                            Ian,
when I stopped, I made it a policy never to take any extra money with me, when I went out, so if I was tempted - I couldn't buy any ciggies, even if I wanted to. Changed a bit, now, we're heading to a cashless economy, we can buy almost anything by card!
Two weeks is great, but keep at it - I thought that the worst part of giving up would be in the pub, with others around smoking. It wasn't, - it was at home, either reading, or on the computer. If you can get through a day, then two without thinking of smoking, then you're making progress
                            Good Luck
                            Dave

Remember, that's after tax. Well done on achieving 14 days, you should be through the worst now.
