Just read this - our best wishes to you and your partner, looks like you'll be chief cook and bottle washer for a while, and, like Chris will be extending the menu as your confidence grows (would seriously not serve up Chris's dish of flombe chefs hat though)

Had a call yesterday late in the day that the radiotherapy treatments ( 23 ) were starting today! They had forgotten to send out a letter.

So first one over, took 10 mins plus a nurse taking us through the treatments, side effects etc, staff wonderful. Best of all a young girl crying while ringing the bell like crazy, so good to see and hear!!

Superb news Bob. The bell ringer is the icing on the cake. I spent virtually my whole working life producing erwinase for treating leukaemia in children, and every time I hear something like that I just know it was worth it.
