    I’m Leaving

Yes that’s right I’m leaving my job after 25 years of service. I retired Friday and no more driving to the city 75 miles one way and driving a tractor trailer in the city. I got a job 8 miles from my house driving a little dump truck 7am-3:30 pm. I start tomorrow and I can wait. I know I’ll have less stress and maybe more bench time.

        Nice one mate :smiling3:
We work to live, not live to work..
.. your improved quality of life, due to cutting out that horrendous daily journey, just HAS to make you feel better!!
(Due to my line of work I drive between 500 to 800 miles a week.... And that's just to get to and fro the jobs themselves, the actual work happens in between the traveling )
So I can imagine the relief you will find in your new post buddy
Very well done again mate, chuffed for you
        Andy

                          Lee,
yep, the time comes when you have to have to put yourself first - less stress, and less of the day wasted by commuting - that's a real no brainer!
                          Dave
