I have to use earphones at home as I play a lot of my music in the wee small hours of the morning. My neighbours wouldn't appreciate ANY loud music at those times, let alone the type of music I listen to. So the car is the only place I can really blast away. I've had some funny looks at traffic lights and in queues, but if I can put up with what I hear from other people's motors, then b****r 'em! They'll just have to put up with mine!

I do like rock but I'm not a heavy metal fan. Most of the bands I've tried to listen to have substituted noise for talent - why do all the guitarists either play distorted notes or have the speakers set to distort the sound?

I'll generally pick an artist or album to listen to, and I've put together a few playlists of particular types of music. I'll listen to music whenever I'm doing something on the 'net or driving. I can't listen while modelling as I'm usually rockin' an' boppin' about so not good for fine, steady detail stuff!Comment
