A couple of Christmas Faireys came today.

The better half gave me a budget for model pressies this year so I spent it with John. They didn't exactly come down the chimney with Santa though, rather DPD threw them over a 6 foot fence and left them in the rain all day :rolling:

I'm not allowed them before the big day though so bought myself a little something to be getting on with

John - nice haul John. I also spent too much money in the VMS sale.

Yeah Andy, I have that with the Azon sometimes, I demand and get compensation for damaged goods (their packaging getting wet...)

Two excellent FAA classics and a fav from 'the Nam'. Very nice.
Be defo watching these if you blog them. Have a connection with two of them!!
Gannet, well I served at HMS Gannet which had one as Gate Guard. Also, first aircraft I threw spanners at in my engineering training!
The Swordfish, A very good friend of mine was part of the Royal Navy Historic Flight Swordfish crew. What a job. Yes I'll admit to a certain amount of envy!!!

Thankfully they were well packaged so as far as I can tell the kits survived the ordeal :smiling3:

Of course, the absolute worst that could happen from a model kit getting wet, is that the decals become unusable and the pages of the instructions are stuck together. I would be highly surprised if the plastic parts suffered from being out in the rain
