Bought one of those spray booths imported by a reputable company who advertise on Azon. £140 quid and I got the runt of the litter... Totally useless, when assembled it fell over onto the fan, the 'plasic' frame was a disaster.... So armed with the credit card it was off to the DIY store and MDF/glue/screws/door handle for carrying booth I built my own.

Looks good Mike. Very good indeed! Assume you're left handed given where the AB holder is?

      I got this delivered today.

Rather small box with 2 kits inside giving the chance to build the military or civilian versions, or if you screw up with one you still have a load of spare parts to build another.
      Two sprues per kit.

      PE/wire and clear parts.

I really don't know why I do this to myself with tiny, fiddly fragile things. :worried:

      Andy.

          Well...
.. not EXACTLY a modelling per-chase... HOWEVER,I got dragged to IKEA on Saturday by Rach,(under duress I may add!!),and while she was gazing at EVERYTHING, but not deciding to actually BUY anything,I found something that served a want Which I've had for a while
Needed to protect my recent, completed, collection of Wingy things from the dust monster!.. and happened upon a rather useful item,a bit smaller than I really wanted, but for just 75 Devonian Groats,I thought,"YEP, that'll do" :smiling3:
Bought it, assembled it,and, this evening, put my little collection in..

Dude that is an incredible bit of 3D work. You didn't need to put the photo of the best person ever to have played God. Even I could see who it is. The detail is insane!

I have a couple of those as well. I think there is a guy on YouTube that shows how to make them dust proof. Another guy showed the best way to sort more shelves.
              One of IKEA's better ideas...

There is a lot of plastic in the box!
One thing thats a bit funny. The box art shows it in the desert colour, Portland or light stone. The guide in the box has two versions. One in France, Micky Mouse over green, the other Northwest Europe in SCC2 and Micky Mouse camo!
All I need now is to find the recovery truck version. lol.

My first diorama build has stalled while I wait for some Flexi-Bark™ to turn up and, although I hate having more than one project on the go at any one time, I got fed up with waiting and bought these from El Greco Miniatures.

Tisiphone is one of The Furies of Roman/Greek mythology - maiden goddesses of vengeance - and this superb sculpt has her comin' atcha in no uncertain terms. Really looking forward to painting her.

The four 1/35th scale post-apocalyptic figures are by Nuts Planet, who always seem to produce beautiful sculpts - these are no exception.

I get the feeling that things are increasingly falling apart, so I thought I'd use these figures in a little diorama set in a near-future dystopian Britain, where order has broken down, public protest is entrenched and violent and we're ruled by an authoritarian regime that doesn't bother with elections or any of that stuff. Completely unrealistic, of course...

In his magnum opus Dioramas FAQ, Rubén González writes "There is... a rule that recommends the use of an odd number of visual figures" (to create interest in a diorama).

I'm hoping to demonstrate that odd numbers are not an absolute requirement when creating a dynamic scene. What I intend to do is cheat and instead of having these rioters as a gang of four, making this a three-group and a one-group, if you get my meaning, but all on the same side.

You'll see what I mean when I get round to it - promise!

Little purchase arrived today . After seeing one of these in the airbrush problems thread I realised it was what I needed . I had a problem with a split nozzle on one of my chinese airbrushes and bought a replacement nozzle , problem was when i screwed it in and replaced the end cap it wasnt central so the spray pattern was lopsided . This tool gives enables very fine adjustment and did the job perfectly . Only place I found them was on Aliexpress , £5.50 inc postage from China and only took just over two weeks to arrive .
