Oh....and congratulations on your restraint!! :smiling5:

I really couldn't believe it.....it's at least 25% cheaper than they go for....:smiling5::smiling5:

And you're right......absolutely no more purchases....maybe......see above reply to Allen!!

Ok gentleman...so I'm going to have to formally complain about the attempts to lead me astray......I clearly was not imagining it....

......but wait you're Mods, so I would have to complain to you.....so that would be an exercise in futility....:confounded::confounded:

I've been told my surname, Eberle, translates to wild pig.

Roots in the shortened version of Erberhard? Which means boar or strong, Ebilo also translates to boar, if I was you I would stick with boar, sounds more refined..........though saying that I've never seen you on a night out......

According to my search it comes from ancient german and means "little boar" but it is also a rather common surname in the mountain area north of Vicenza and in Alto Adige/Sudtirol.

I wonder why they would have German-sounding surnames there, yes …

So a big thanks to our own KarlW for his help with these.

I've been looking for some plane stands for the plane kits I plan to make for wargaming but the Revell and AIrfix offerings didn't quite fit the bill for my needs. I saw Karl use these back in January and asked for the info but the seller had none left.

He then emailed very late on last Sunday whilst, to use his words, he was "Just browsing eBay with beer......" to let me know the seller had them back in stock. So I jumped on.....they were a bit pricey and so I submitted a cheeky offer at 20% below asking price which was accepted straight away.

The finish on them looks a bit 'meh' at the moment as they have a protective cover on them, in reality they're perfectly clear! They're actually angled slightly for either upwards or more importantly downwards flight - perfect for Junior's Typhoons as they attack my Germans.

Thanks again Karl for bearing me in mind! You sir, are a scholar and gentleman!

A rebox of a Dragon Model from 1991 - another unusual pairing for the stash - an ebay swoop, not as cheap as I hoped, but others will insist on bidding..............
