            Just received a delivery from John.

            I asked a while ago about mirco modelling chisels and John had these in the shop. So i have taken a punt and bought them. Also got a couple of brushes for painting figures too.

            Might do a review on the chisels once i use them

                  A new oil drying box - Box £15 from Hobby craft (only a fiver as had a gift card from Christmas ) bulb holder , couple of quid, tinfoil from the kitchen, cord from recycling a old lamp and a spare bulb. Tinfoil half in place with no more nails again lying around in the toolbox

                    Very nice, do those energy saving bulbs throw out enough heat?
                    (And I'll not comment on the wiring.......)

                        Yep, gets hot in the box. Left the wiring like that so I could see if the light is on with the lid shut :anguished::smiling3::smiling3:

                        put a 1/5 head in for about 2 hrs and it was nice and dry, my old bigger box took at least twice that long.

                            I have a Trumpeter one that in my mind looks exactly the same (I haven’t actually compared the two), and it’s very much intended to replicate flush rivets on aircraft models. Run it over the surface and it will leave a line of little dimples — not suitable for armour models at all.
