As my Micro Krystal Klear was very old and quite dried up I followed Tim's suggestion in THIS thread about glues. So if my windows/canopies etc don't now fit beautifully I'll know who to blame :tongue-out3: :smiling:

It’s got better shear strength Rick. Being more flexible it takes knocks better. At last, I find it has…..best to experiment with some scrap etch and see what you think.Comment

I thought it might be suitable for attaching those smaller pre-painted parts. Styrene cement can spoil the paint and CA has little wriggle time and clean up, if necessary, is very difficult. This stuff should give a reasonably strong bond and any clean up should be straightforward with just a damp brush.Comment

Sounds good Andy. I have used that white Gator glue but I'm down to my last pot of the stuff and it's virtually impossible to get hold of.Comment

Well, either I've got the bargain of a lifetime, or I've just wasted £33.93! Looking for a replacement for my deceased Monoprice Mini 3D printer, I found an ebay auction item that seemed to fit the bill - problem was I knew nothing about this printer, and the auction was finishing in less than an hour.................. I hurriedly looked at reviews, YouTube vids & the user manual, and eventually decided to chance it - I put on a max bid of £46 ( with p&p just under £50 ) - but amazingly got it for £30 + p&p, this was Friday night. Just got an email from ebay & Evri to say that it's on it's way. This is another base level printer, without anything fancy, which is perhaps why no-one else bid on it. We shall see!!
