How many tpi. on the #13 saw blades? I'm looking for something in the range of 40+ for extremely fine cutting. Thanks also for supporting the U.S. economy with all those "Yank" Flags on your products.....reminds me of "Flag Day" here in the States. :thumb2:

One set I have has 70tpi and the other is asymetric (has curved ends).
You should be able to get them in the US and I believe John at the Scale Model Shop sells them complete with handle.

As I said in my Albatros W.4 post, I did a little retail therapy to try and screw my head back on straight. The first one from evilbay was easy, but the second one from evilbay was a big brain fart on my part........The first was cheap at €38.50 + postage, 2 weeks ago,

Got some Friuls already built to replace the rubber bands in the box. The next purchase was 2 auctions running out 1 minute apart. At Stammheim, I had bought some Quinta Studio decals for vehicles, but I didn't have a kit for one of the sets. The two kits came up and the first one was this,

I threw a bid on it and went directly to bid on the second kit, not waiting to see if I had won it. The second kit was this,

I just needed the Kfz. 4 or the Kfz. 1 for the decals. I won this kit and went back and saw I had won the other kit too!!! I only needed one vehicle and ended up with 4 vehicles. DOH!!!...Brain fart from hell......2 kits will go back in evilbay for sure.....Retail therapy from MBK was also needed and they finally got this in stock,

I also got the 3D printed tires for my Fugliest Schwimmwagen as I hate the rubber ones that are in the kit. Lastly, I finally cleared my wish and grabbed this 4 days ago off evilbay. It's for my Zeebrugge project and was cheaper than you may think,

The funny thing was the seller sold it to finance a WNW Felixstowe 2a kit (the plane in the background). If I had known that we could have made a trade as I have the Felixstowe 2a in the stash and will never build it because it is too big!!!...Crazy world......

Sorry Tim, reading my comment back it seems to be aimed soley at you, which it wasn't.

The forum as a whole is rife with unsolicited "advice", which I find absolutely outrageous, no wonder it's banned on most other groups. I'm obviously in a minority though as many seem to be fine with it. I was encouraged to come back to the forum but unfortunately I can't keep turning the other cheek, so better if I just disappear into the background, rather than spoil the generally friendly atmosphere around here.

I intend to hang around as there's some great members here and amazing work to behold, far better than I could ever hope to achieve, but my autistic personality just doesn't interact with people well.

Somehow, I missed your post and only noticed it just now, three weeks later Here is the manufacturer’s page for them which looks like it tells you all you need to know Except it says “3" long” when I measure one as about 43 mm long overall, with a 38 mm cutting edge, so I guess they accidentally put double the real length there.

Anyway, they fit any normal X-Acto-type handle, of the kind you can also put No. 11 blades into. I find these little saws very handy for use in tight corners, as they’re only 5 mm high. But being of the type of steel used for knife blades, they don’t bend sideways without warning like many etched saws do.

It’s got better shear strength Rick. Being more flexible it takes knocks better. At last, I find it has…..best to experiment with some scrap etch and see what you think.

You know how it is ,sat in the smallest room came across this discussion dont care much for the canopy part(though there's quite a few in the stash)but was very interested in the etch part of this ,so it seems to work OK for you im in just taken the flea Bay leap of faith only one question how long does it take to fully bond. Probably an hour, but I’ve never really tested it…….I’m not the fastest modeller so I just plan ahead and switch to something else while it dries. Certainly not as fast as CA…..

I thought I’d get a few more pre-made dioramas for photography When browsing the web shop I got these from, I noticed they had some old KMC stuff available, including something like eight or ten examples of their “Farmer’s Horse Cart/Europe WWII” for €3 each. At that price, I figured I’d get two, one for the collection and one to build. IIRC, KMC was founded by one of François Verlinden’s old employees, so casting quality was on a par with Verlinden but standards of detail and accuracy were generally better.

The bottle of thinner is … well, due to me always confusing Mr. Color paints with Mr. Aqueous Color paints I think I’ll see if somebody else wants it, together with the bottle of Mr. Color I was sent earlier this year when I had ordered the same colour from the Mr. Aqueous Color line instead. And Mr. Aqueous Surfacer for the same reason of not getting along with the lacquer type paints

A late delivery by Evri, too close to dinner for me to do anything with it. BUT at a quick glance, the box has been opened, but all the parts seem to be there - the display still has its' protective film the build plate is virgin & there don't seem to any scratches or marks thatyou'd get by assembly, documentation, tools all present
