About £10 for both of these, don't know without trying?!

      Lee,
I gave TEMU a go about a month ago - delivery was quick, communication good! Of course you get what you pay for - the quality isn't the best & some things are very flimsy - Best thing I got was a rechargeable mini-torch, which gives you spots before your eyes if you look into the beam! I suspected TEMU was going to be another Wish retailer, but seems better - but the quality generally mirrors the price

Dave, open and honestly, we were a bit suspect of it but have placed orders regularly and not had a problem with anything from them, I guess it's the same as everything regardless of price, you pay for what you get... if it means cheap and cheerful so be it.
As for Wish, delivery takes to long and their quality isn't as good as Temu in my opinion.

I hadn't realised until recently .. you have micro brushes and then ultra fine brushes .. they go down to 50/0 ... that's why i struggled with figure painting .. sigh .

I rarely use anything below a size 1 for figure painting Iain. If the brush is too small then the paint dries too quickly and doesn’t flow off the brush properly…..the big figure painting secrets are properly thinned paint and an unloaded brush….took me a long time to crack that…..

                Hi all

So some more arrivals in the past week, albeit no kits.

The stand is to help with an upcoming and for for me a very different subject.

As I have the Tamiya Raiden on the go and a Tamiya Zero in the stash, I thought I'd splash out on some semi-decent Hinomaru's rather than put up with the Tamiya 'stickers'.

The Albions Alloys sanding needles were bought to sort out the join on the Raiden's wings and have already proved their worth (pics to follow). Had heard good things about their products and was proved right.

I had come across the book early on in the build but they were going stupid prices....£80-£100, with £30 common and yet a search the other day found this for only £17 delivered and it appears to have been brand new. Although it's probably a bit late in the day for the build, I have come across a couple of useful shots!

I hope, anyway I used to clean my airbrush with pipe cleaners, but the ones I had ran out twenty years ago or so, as in the time since did the smoking shops where I could buy them. It took until last week to realise you can probably buy them online now … With a bit of luck, these will make it a lot easier to get the paint out of my airbrush.

Whilst on holiday in South Devon the wife decided to go clothes shopping and I found a lovely family run model shop in Newton Abbott where a great discussion was had and the mothsflew out of my wallet to purchase the above, loving this holiday so far.

Make sure you get any loose bits of fluff off them first Jakko - a rinse in whatever cleaner you're using should work.

Spot on Andy, wish we had somewhere like that 15 minutes from home in Hemel Hempstead!

Lovely part of the country having never stayed around the area previously. We are quite jealous of your scenery and coastline and are going to Brixham tomorrow for a look see. Staying in a very nice lodge with a hot tub at Finlake Resort.

My recent truck build sapped a few resources so I've stocked up on a few things

And since that lot wasn't quite enough to qualify for free shipping, a couple of kits accidentally fell into my basket again :smiling5:

Hopefully they should work well together

Andy, I love that Faun L900! I wouldn't mind doing one of those in 1-87 scale.....all the resin kits I have seen so far are sub standard at best, so I am waiting for a better rendering before parting with my hard earned cash! :thumb2:
