Yep....had my "bird" flu shot, so immune to them as well. :tongue-out3: didn;t keep me from stashin' 'em away though.:thumb2:

Neil Merryweather very kindly printed me a set of upgrades he created for his build of Tommy's War Vickers Clyno - Build here
And all i can say is Wow, simply wow. Took less than 10mins to get all the pieces of the struts, I found the easiest method was to cut away the base and the tiny struts attached to the printed parts just came off in your hands, bit like peeling legs off fresh prawns
In the box were;
Four wheels
Vickers machine gun & elevating wheel
Ammo box in holder
Water box
Hooter
Full Ammo belt
Short ammo belt

Had a set sent from Neil, and what an improvement they are for the Tommy's War original.
For all of you out there that are struggling with the wheels, have the kit sitting in the back of a drawer, then contact Neil, you will not be disapointed, if you do not, then you will always wonder what your Clyno would have looked like.
This set will save you time, anguish, not kicking the cat and SWMBO will arise the following morning with a smile on her face.....
Well done Neil for providing what we all need to fill in this gap.

Hi all
So the Quinta 'decals' actually arrived last week but I forgot to post up a pic.
Not used them before but they look very good. Saw some pop up on Ebay for what I thought was ok price but then found a shop selling for a much better price, so thought I would give them a whirl!!
I only include the flow improver that arrived today as an example of that well known disease, 'over-packing-itis'......I mean, you couldn't even see it in the box when I opened it.....totally ridiculous.

In airbrush work it is the only thing that allows me to airbrush acrylics.
In brush painting it is great for allowing you to reliably paint thin lines and improve the controllability of paint leaving the brush.
It’s also good for improving acrylic washes, especially if you dilute them with water before use (I do, some are too strong straight out of the bottle) , because it breaks down surface tension from the added water.Comment

What Tim said on the AB front. Never actually tried them with a brush but read very recently that's what they were originally designed for.Comment
