Easy mistake to make, really, but I wouldn’t have seen that from the markings :smiling3: Well, not unless I had gone and looked up the registration numbers. Had they been Dutch it might have clicked, because of the 2A4(NL) numbers are somewhat unusual,
It says that on the sheet, which is why I asked :smiling3:
We definately need some 1.72nd Leopard 1a3s and 4s as the Italeri one isnt great and the Revell 1a5 is non existent in U.k.

I made one out of a tea strainer and an electronic fly swatter a few years ago Andy. Works OK, but you do need to Earth the base to the unit to get it to work well. The working height isn’t that large either around six inches I seem to remember. I’ve since bought a stronger “flock box” type, and that mostly flocks my arms when I’m using it :tongue-out3:
Had one, gave up and got a all singing and dancing one from WSComment

I went into town today for some pond supplies, but it turned out the pet shop closed a month agoBefore I found that out, though, I had already picked up some largish brushes from the art supplies store, and some more reading material from the well-stocked bookstore:

The title translates as Wheel and Track: Vehicles of the [Royal Netherlands] Army 1945–2015. It’s not just a catalogue of them, but has a full text describing (briefly) the whys and hows as well, plus tables with amounts, registration numbers, and more:

This came out a few years ago, and I had wanted to get a copy then, but kind of forgot to :rolling: Glad I went to the history books section of the store today.
I may need to get myself a sturdier bookcase next — two volumes of Son of Sherman the other week, and this one is about the same size as one of those: 558 pages A4 with a hard cover …Comment

I used those paints and the result was nice: thinned with its own thinner, easy to spray, give a smooth and a semi matt finish; they just smell a little so mask and/or ventilated space is warmly recommended.Comment

I’m fortunate enough to have a respirator mask and a spray booth extractor fan so it seemed pointless struggling on with Acrylics

My neighbour gave me this today. it was something her late husband started but sadly never finished. He had made a start on the chassis unfortunately it's not good. I will have to try and get it all apart and start again but one set of springs is broken so I will have to make some more.
I have never built anything from Accurate Armour with the exception of some tools. On first inspection it is going to need some work. One thing I do like though is the texture on the tarpaulin.
cheers

The quality of AA kits can vary a bit, by my reckoning depending on which day of the week your particular one was cast on … The only full kit of theirs I’ve ever built was the Strv 103 tank, and some parts were excellent but others had to be replaced by scratchbuilt ones because of mould misalignments and things like that. Same with a couple of the more extensive conversion sets of theirs I’ve used. But if anybody can whip this into shape, I suspect you’re among themComment
