When I remember my two older brothers grunting like gorillas to scare me after we had seen Phantom of the Rue Morgue (1954).

While all the above are indicators of getting old, may I suggest that the true sign of getting old is when your thinking changes from:

When will I go to this pub/restaurant/theatre next?

When will I meet these people again?

When will I next carry out this activity?

                ..........

                To:

Is this the last time I'll ever go to this pub/restaurant/theatre?

Is this the last time I'll ever meet these people again?

Is this the last time I'll ever carry out this activity?

                ........

When you end up going to your local hospital more often than you go to your local pub……
