Stop with the paint "code" in the assembly drawings. Just say what the colour is. Let people know and not have to cross reference between paint brands. If its got a name or production code as in an FS, RAL, KLM, BS, etc or Dunkel Gelb III , or British Khaki no 3. say it.
On the same subject, paint call outs in sub-assembly sections. Why is it that so few kit companies do this?
Rubber tyres/tires. Why Just why. The detail is
oop: they loose shape , either stick to any surface they are standing on, or melt, or both. If you want to make the extra effort there is this great new invention called 3D printing where the detail is fantastic and no mould seams!
Options: If you are going to make a model so finely detailed with PE parts could you please, where it is possible include a plastic part as an option. Or again there is the 3D Print option where a more robust material can be used. I like PE but not when it is so "fine" that it breaks when you as much as look at it sideways. How the heck are we ment to be able to fold it four ways, glue it together and then in place!
Any others have model kit pet hates that could be done better.
