    Some Bad News

I've been unwell for some months, I was diagnosed with anaemia, but I've been going through various tests to find the cause. I had gastroscopy and colonoscopy yesterday, possibly the worst afternoon in my life, and the upshot is I have cancer. Biopsies were taken for analysis. The doctor assured me that it was treatable, and there was a good prognosis. Next up is a MRI & CT scan..................
As you can imagine, I'm feeling a little shell shocked at the moment. All plans for the future are now a bit hazy. I can't concentrate at the moment on anything, so I might not be posting as much as I normally do

So sorry to hear of your news, Dave. It must be devastating for you. Hopefully, the doctor is correct and your condition is treatable.

    Wishing you all the best

Dave, that is a shock to me as well, and I am sure to all of us that follow with interest and trepidation, some would say fear, of your exploits into 3D printing as we hide behind the sofa. Then the daily updates on what is going to arrive to upset our greedy bank manager when we fork out and punish our credit card(s) on yet more kits and bits.
Yvonne and Myself wish you well and hope you can get over this hurdle and above all don't let the barsteward get you down - we are here for you.
      Cheers

Oh hell, that's bad news indeed. Sorry to hear that Dave.

Pleased to hear the doctor said it's treatable, as many cancers are these days. My older brother was diagnosed with a colorectal cancer 5 years ago and following surgery is doing fine, except that he has to be careful about what he eats and drinks.

So sorry to hear that Dave. I can totally understand your shell shocked feelings as my wife & I had similar news recently and it left us in a fog for some time.

Wishing you all the very best and I do hope the doctors prognosis continues to be positive.

                      Sorry to hear this Dave.

The important thing is that it’s treatable.

You can beat it, stay positive.

In fact, let’s beat the big C together!!!

Damn Dave, that is terrible news. I've been winning the war for 13 years since mine. Keep positive and beat this. Please take care of yourself Sir.
