    Help with ariels

Hi folks hope someone can assist me with a slight problem, i build 1:35 scale armour and so far have been unsuccessful in finding somthing i can use as radio antennae for WW11 armour. I have tried melting spruce but i'am a little cack handed with this technique, although i keep trying can someone offer a good realistic alternative, thanks.

hi scott,do you know anyone who plays guitar? The old strings are brilliant for all sorts of uses, the thinnest single wire ones would be perfect for an aerial, strong enough and flexible too.The thicker wound strings are good for allsorts too, oxygen pipes in planes, flexible hoses on engines ,the skies the limit.Hope this is of some use cheers ,tony

I build 1/35 armour too and I had the same problem, but no more.

The solution is to buy a card of good old fashioned fuse wire.

On this you will find 3 sizes, use the 15amp size, this is the perfect size for 1/35. A dab of super glue and away you go. I have photos in the gallery and you might just spot the antennas!!!

I hope this is useful to you.
