Thanks but it's not my work, I have had a professional do it at a cost but I felt it was worth it as my graphic skills aren't that good, I have asked him to make some slight changes but it's almost there, it's good to have some feedback.

Yes excellent, just a bit heavy on the car I thought. Lettering so so, ask him to show you some "chrome" Eurostyle medium a la ITV Morning News heading.

Oops , must sound like goobelygoock. Ask your designer to show you what "eurostile" looks like. Think of in polished chromed metal, just like today`s Royal Navy ships`nameplates (now you know where I`m coming from !) If that is not in his/her box of tricks maybe he`d like to add it. Capital letters only. The method is described on www.designertoday.com Scroll down left-hand column to "search" and put in "chrome lettering" . There is a tutorial from a previous issue. The example is a bit too desert-like but you can alter the colours. Looks complicated to me , I can hardly send an email. I just thought that the whole thing would suit cars, ships,`planes, engineering etc that had nameplates in metal. One of the TV news companies use it daily on the intro to the programme. It must be my accent..!

Like the new header. It's got a ship on it this time !!!!!

Looks like a 3-decker, therefore a first-rater. Is it Victory?

I know the one that you are on about Duncan,it looks just as if it is a piece of highly polished chrome, very flashy indeed.

Found an easier, I think, site for metal lettering. Great range, polished & oiled steels, chrome dull or shiny, gold light or old, even carbon-fibre and plastics clear and coloured. Camoflage,fish-scales and leopard skin all using Photoshop. Simple looking instructions. Worth a look for anyone that can handle a computer. www.thewebmachine.com

See you took my advice John and managed to combine a wider range of models in the header.

He has come back with a few changes I asked him to do, any thoughts? I will ask him to do the chrome lettering with any other changes.

Dont like "ransom note " lettering. Hope chrome will be "Eurostile". Car was better in full colour as it was. The faded airliner in background should perhaps be a railway locomotive and could be a little stronger blue ,almost as strong as the tank and ship. we already have an aeroplane with the Spitfire. Otherwise IMHO it is excellent. Well done. Wish I had Photoshop etc.

John dont like that lettering,it looks awful, prefer the first one.

Also the tank should be larger than the Spitfire ie in perspective with it so the images get smaller, sorry about this.

                            Nice work John,

A very pleasing header which does reflect the nature of this group...ie that we cover all aspects of modelling....but you lost the train..!! surely room to fit that in on the right of the car as there is nothing there and maybe a helicopter too....Still, Nice work all the same and I will agree very easy on the eye too !!

                            Regards.......Mark.

He's made some changes, but not the one's with the chrome fonts, what do you think?
