Yes, it is a nice kit. Hopefully, I will get some Brassin and photo etch aftermarket for this. A nice feature of this kit is that it already includes some resin and PE, but since this is meant to be the best Spit around, I decided to get as much aftermarket as I can afford and then make an ultimate spit with all of the details available.
I'm always looking in silence those build threads about ships...and have a question! Are they interesting? A challange maybe or a enjoyable models..?
I'm building a plane now, so I think the only thing that remain me to build is a ship ops:
Thanks
Pink Panther,
I find them enjoyable, and an interesting subject. Getting the photo etch makes the model much more of a challenge. I also enjoy looking into the history of the models. I also like getting the plans of the ships as I also make them as 3D models, which is another challenge.
I got this one at my lms whitch is closing "sniff" so allsorst of things are going for silly prices this one was in the help the heros donation box so after my purchase i popped in a £1 .
I was told there was minor bits missing but after a check seems to be all there.
just thought post me latest buys, thu had many just never get around to posting but thought would this time,
im still waiting for my birthday present to myself that got from kingkits sale, but had the new eduard tiger come Thu yesterday that got with some b,day money and was a bargin at just under £25, at first glance feel bit let down as the kit its self is very poor, do realize its a re box of the academy one but expected it to be the on to be with the interior but its not, only bit extra was choose of schemes and bit of etch being the grills!!!
and today had a wonderful figure funny thing was did buy two were both posted at same time as from same person, but only one arrived???
the figure is resin of a warrior princess "Mona" some fantastic detail and very clean , looking forward to building her but worried as I know my paint skills are not good enough to do her justice
