While on holiday in Germany I picked up these for €8. These are 1/87 HO scale figures that I use to fill railway carriages or buses in 1/76 OO gauge for my model railway. There has been much discussion on this forum about the difference in scales and can they be mixed - my experience is that with certain situations they can. I find that ordinary OO gauge figures are usually too big to fit in a carriage or vehicle of the same scale but HO scale being slightly smaller are just right. For the ones with legs I cut them off and they go into carriages well with a dab of evilstick.

Having recently seen a great build of this kit a few weeks ago, I jumped at the chance when one became available on E-Bay last week.
I set myself a limit of what I was prepared to pay, expecting it to go for a very high price.

Couldn't believe it when I got it for less than I was willing to bid. In fact surprised how few bids there were.

Definitely made up for it when I decided to purchase the 'BIG ED' photo etch add-ons.o_Oo_O
Haven't yet told HWMBO just how big this is, as she's not too happy with the space my Schnellboote & the Atomic Annie I am in the middle of building take up already.
