Here is my latest purchase, just arrived, thanks John...

Quality is written all over this kit and I can't wait to get to grips with it. But I will wait, still practising and working up to it - get a few more builds done first. In the meantime plan the build, get anything else needed to complete it and be patient.

Just picked up a Ju-88 1/32 Revell jobbie ... first "proper" attempt into larger scale aircraft.Going to paint up as L1-OK (Sicily 1941-2) coz i like the camo effect ... and it's different !

Few little visual mods needed after a quick t'interweb browse, nowt too serious though and i'm not getting too geeky about things like wing area etc as it's just going to be "a-hangin'-in-the-spare-room" after it's finished.

There's a few builds of this one on here,I did one myself when they first released the kit. It makes a nice model but you need to be careful,dry fit as far ahead as you can!

New World Miniatures

Following on from the purchase of the Tamiya LRDG Chevrolet truck and the SAS Jeep, got these through this morning, opened the box and they are very well cast indeed.

Have posted the link here but bought the LRDG Trooper # NWM35608, LRDG/SAS Trooper NWM35609 and the Chevrolet Truck crew NWM35025

Nice figures and well worth going across the pond to purchase even with the postage, saved money!

I got a job lot from evil-bay.

I've just had a chunk of work cancelled,the joys of self employment,so I might get a chance to knock a few out whilst I line something else up!

Well from a brief drool over the sprues in the shop I can say that its a good tooling. Fine panel lines and x-small rivets on the main wings. Option of cowlings off to show the finely detailed motor!!!! Good crisp casting. weighted wheels with seperate hubs. Looks like a good one to me. Four sets of markings as well as both the short and long spinners as well.

I think I might like this so much I will end up buying a couple more..... Hm? MkII conversion...

Picked up these at the newark expo show on sunday, interesting little lot and quite fun to build. The 4 PM models luftwaffe projects cost me £9 , and the revell 1/32 ju87b stuka complete but no box or decals and most parts already off the sprues was £4!! Then i found the decals for it for £1 ! tony

If it's still there in the shop tomorrow, I'll be adding a 1:24 revell schlingmann 20/16 to the stash, if not I might grab one of the italeri truck cabs to play with
