Ben in case you are not aware, the current issue of Airfix magazine has part 1 of a review of this kit. The next issue (due out on 5th Jan) has part two. I'd be happy to post you copies of the appropriate pages if you don't want to buy the mags themselves. I'm getting these because I shall one day build the bus myself, when my skills are more honed. All that gloss paint!!!!! All those windows!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All those nightmares!Aidan

Ive got the current issue of the Airfix magazine which was a great insight into the model before i had even got it, no doubt that's what my girlfriend thought she would buy it instead of me pondering over the book :P

aha don't get me worrying already although im thinking certain bits are going to be a pain but ill hopefully work through them!

Ill see if my local news agents stock the magazine as there's so much other little bits in there to read as well. I got my first copy from a shop near my girlfriends, If i can't get hold of the second magazine from my local shop ill give you a PM Cheers for the offer Aidan very kind

Ben please post hundreds of pictures of the build so poor, inexperienced, wimpish, insecure, lacking-in-self-esteem, new to the game, modellers (me!) can benefit from your experinces. I'm particularly interested in the paint jopb and how you tackle it. So no pressure frome me!!!

Will do Aidan ive just got a small airfix mini to finish first then i will be getting my teeth into this monster of a bus :P Im still learning as we all are and ill certainly post my progress on it as theres plenty of steps

Hi all, haven't been on for a while, mainly as I've actually been doing some model making !!!! I know, hope that didn't cause you to fall off your chairs.....

Anyway, for Xmas was given the new Airfix Swordfish. Anyone else got it? Isn't it the best thing since sliced bread? I think so ! In fact, the only problem I can see with it is that I'm going to have to get another to get a Mk2 ( which will complete the set.....one day !), and then another to show the wongs folded, then another in a nice pre-war scheme, then another....

Hi all. Back from my trip to Europe and ready to get back into it. Got myself a couple of presents just because I felt like it. Hahaha. Always preferred the Razorback to the bubble top. Should be fun.

Excellent choice of self presents kresten!! Ive always liked the razorback better too! as for the T50 im well jealous, i saw the black eagles at last years RAF Waddington airshow , and they were absolutely amazing!! ever since ive been fancying getting the Academy T50 , hope your'e going to be doing a build thread on this one , cheers tony

My latest acquisition is neither model nor aviation related.It's "Bonhoeffer,Pastor,Matyr,Prophet,Spy" by Eric Metaxas. Google Dietrich Bonhoeffer for some basic info.

Some fairly serious reading which might block out the racket of the next set of rehearsals I have to endure.

Men (and women) like him should make us all feel humble.
