I just got this, shipped in from Spain at rather more cost than I like to think about.... But it is a thick book, tons of photos, high quality and simply a bible for aircraft modellers.....

I also got this.... my lady bought me this, a Spitfire experience. You are taken up in a light aircraft and you meet a Spitfire over the White Cliffs at Capel over the Battle of Britain museum. It flys around you for half an hour, doing swoops etc...

..
The experience is run by a company called Action Stations... recommended
Nice book Barry I'll be looking for one at Cosford this coming Sunday. I flew a Cessna a number of years ago a very memorable experience no spitfires though have a great day

Now that is a cool book Barry I'm off to see if I can get it
here are the pics of my latest purchases... The 1:32 Revell Bf 109G-6 (new 2014 tool) with the Eduard interior zoom and Bf 109G seatbelt photoetch sets and the 1:48 Eduard Spitfire Mk VIII (new 2015 tool)
decals for my A10 - I think this adds another 12 schemes - why did I do it, now I have to choose between them! These are all for aircraft from either first gulf war or in Afghanistan service rather than the OOTB variants. Luckily they also use either the grey/grey scheme or European 1 - The MB ones are all 354th TFW and 6 of them - so I could buy 5 more and have the whole lot! - wait, that's just crazy talk, but I have thought about this idea - the madness of modelling is when you really think about doing the same model in a different colour scheme.
[edit] muppet, and now for two different decal sets!
