Hi all. For the first time I can remember, I actually went to my local model emporium for something specific, namely the new Airfix Lightning, only to find they didn't have one !!! So I consoled myself with this that I found in their stash. On first inspection it looks fairly straightforward, but I'm sure I can sort that out.....!

This arrived in the post today , the wife loves VW campers but I was unable to get the old 60s type so I got this one

Some might say don't build it but I'm a builder and I'm going to build it

Wow that is an oldie, got to be a 60's kit at least.

Well its a 1971 mould but a 2012 rebox,its just a fun kit really plenty of options to add more detail

Its only 60 parts!

Well I was pretty close, I just remember there were several released in the 60'-70's.

Our local model shop has a dragster (triple) kit that can make 3 different versions of the same machine. Unfortunately they want £125 for it, way beyond my means.

Yeah close enough,ive been looking at some of these style of kits they are intresting subjects. Wow £125 way too much but maybe its not been re-boxed

I never thought of that, think I may need to check it out!
