Looks interesting Rick, and would look good next to Granddaddy Nimrod.

It's 1/200 so would be dwarfed next to the Nimrod.
On the bench: Airfix 1/48 Sea King HC4, Revell 1/24 Trabant.

The poseidon looks nice. What scale is it?

Btw, Hasegawa throw the status/name limited edition around like anything. It really does ruin it in my opinion. For example, the eduard limited editions are so much better. The hasegawa ones have a special scheme and that's about it. At the best, you get a bit of white metal, resin and PE. And they come at a whopping price....

It would be 1/200 scale John! Here's the box contents. Something to build later in the year or more likely next year.

I think there is a 1/72 scale vacform version but I can't recall the maker. It would be nice to have an injection moulded one in 1/72 to match the current crop of maritime patrol aircraft in this scale - Nimrod, Atlantique and P-3......hmm? I see an idea for a SIG.

As not modelling at the moment, I decided to start collecting some extra's for my OV-10 & HE 219 UHU.

Canopy masks, wheels & fuel tanks.

try out the kagero He 219 publications. I have all of them, and they are excellent.

The Iwata Hi Line HP-CH. Will have to get a .2 millimeter set for this one as it offers great control
