I would think it can cut poly sheet. It is a scalpel blade and if you use a ruler and a scalpel, cutting poly sheet is possible. All it would mean is taking a few passes at it.

The main purpose of the tool is that it is a guide so gentle passes on harder materials would be the order of the day. This is not a jackhammer, by gentle cuts with minimum pressure you will easily get consistent and accurate cuts.

It is designed to cut cork and other materials of a similar nature, like balsa or foam sheets which it will do easily and without effort. If you use it for thicker harder materials, it may not last as long. Like any tool, it should be used safely within its design parameters.

          Had to show this one!

No, it's not for washing off mould release! It's gonna save me a couple of hours a week up to my elbows in soap suds at the kitchen sink - so I'll have that much more time slaving over bits of plastic at the workbench! Yeah!

Hi all, still yer me. Just been busy and on my hols. Picked the up the two Dragon kits in Tavistock's Pannier Market. I think I got a good deal. They were displayed as 20% off so I asked if I would get further discount if I bought both. Ended up at £70 for both.
