However, for practical reasons, I do see the use of them especially when, like me, the paint is stored in that many different drawers, cupboards and boxes. Maybe a smallish rack to keep the regularly used paints to hand would be useful, this looks great Monica
I was like you,Graham.,and keep them in plastic, boxs, but found I,needed to pickup each bottle to find what I,was looking for,
about 1yre to 2,ago,I,made two racks, when full,I started to place in front, and over time, added, and added,to it, as you can see,
so when these,s one showed,up why not and try and sort this mess a little,

http://www.eurekamin.com.au/ but he dose has someone in the UK,as well, but forget who he is,
could always drop him an email, about it,
        Thanks, I'll do that

Just got this to enhance my current Bf 109 Gunther Rall build- an aftermarket Canopy since I will be posing it open. The detail is very much superior to the kit part. It is produced by RB productions and is made of PE and acetate for the glass

                  and

I already have plenty of plasticard sheets. My plan is to have both aircraft magnetically levitate above bases that I will scratch build. Should be an interesting challenge.

Maglev aircraft display?! Good luck with that one

I have saved a few cereal packets so I will start with cardboard mock-ups for experimentation. Once I have perfected the levitation I will build the kits. Once I have the magnets I will start a new thread to chart my experimentation.

Unfortunately simple magnets won't be enough Rik. Earnshaws theorem essentially states that...

As a practical consequence, then, this theorem also states that there is no possible static configuration of ferromagnets which can stably levitate an object against gravity, even when the magnetic forces are stronger than the gravitational forces.

If you manage it, you'll become a multi millionaire!

I believe that theorem referres to single magnetic fields. I plan to use a multitude of magnets to "force" stability. I have been looking around the net and found quite a few working examples of magnetic levitation, all using multiple magnetic fields to force reasonable or better stability.

I've seen those examples too & all say that the effect is unstable and short-lived. There is a company using a CMT 2 device to give stable magnetic levitation, but that's not yet commercially viable.

Don't misunderstand me, I'm not knocking your efforts. Personally I'd love to see it happen as I've tried it before without success.
