Well imagine my delight when I found out that this had finally been made !! Its one of my all time favourite cold war soviets and although Ive done the Amodel 1/72 (which was not an easy build!) I never thought a mainstream manufacturer would do one in 1/48. It only took 5 days to come from hong kong , and it looks very nicely detailed , the only thing i'm going to need to add is a suitable set of seat belts. It shows on the rear of the box that theyre planning on releasing a 'Brewer' , the glazed nose bomber version too!! Tony --see next post for a better pic !

Postman delivered this the other day. Bought from e-bay for £45. I have just ordered the Flyhawk PE, which cost twice as much as the kit.

Just won on ebay UK auction, damaged, previous owner tried to cut the interior floor out, got pics, stick it back in. One other prob no decals, oh well have to print some!

Unfortunately the decals are missing, but the instructiona are there, but I'd already built one a couple of years ago. I did it in camo as the basic McLaren decals were only four small ones..........

Adding various off-cuts of previously used decal sheets and a Fujimi bike rack, top box and home made surfboard.
