Lol I went for the exercise and a look around. I popped into Hobby Craft and the same kits are priced at £10 each.I've ad a poke around inside the boxes and their nice little kits with crisp detail.
I look forward to building them one day and was thinking of a nice raspberry ripple Provost.

I've been trying to find suitable Flak models for my Schwerer Gustav build later in the spring and I just got these.
I don't know if they existed anywhere in I. Flakkorp but they look the part - and it's not that easy to find everything in 1/72 scale - especially when you have almost zero experience in that scale...

Recommendations for 1/72 kits/vehicles/tanks compatible with a German Flak brigade in Sevastopol are more than welcome!
I will also probably be adding more tracks and at least one Panzerlok BR57 and some carts...
I also got a FT-17 from Meng in 1/35 scale because building the Takom Mk.IV was so fun!
The plan is to build more WWI tanks in the future

Picked this up for my next build, first time with an AZ model so it will be interesting to see how it goes.

There seems to be plenty of German AA stuff available in 1/72 Jens. 10 minutes on ebay and I found these:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RODEN-727...gAAOSwopRYeoC6
I've seen most of them apart from the top two ones.
I'm trying to find Flak guns used in I. Flakkorp, 1&2 Flak battalion and apart from it being a hard detective work to find data - finding the correct models is even harder, so I've decided to be a bit flexible with regards to the particular Flak armaments in use.
I was also hoping that some of my favourite Chinese suppliers would join in on this "Black Friday" malarkey and lower their prices but sadly no, they haven't... Not that I've seen.
My local place has 25% off if you order for £250 or more - which I won't at the moment, so no good deals for me right now.
Do you know any place that's got such a sale on at the moment for modelling stuff? Paint, models etc?Comment

For kits, I always start with ebay as I'm quite happy with used/second hand kits (as long as the ebay feedback is good) - sorry John.
When I find kits on ebay, I do look at their sites for other items they may have for sale (most people will combine purchases which reduces the postage costs), but I can't say I've found any consistently cheap dealers. I suppose a lot depends on the popularity of kits in their stock at the time. If they're not selling well, they'll often reduce the price, but I ask myself why they're not selling. Maybe the kit isn't accurate or poor quality or just an odd subject.
As for sales, most ebay shops have a sales/reduced/clearance section on their site. To be honest, it's very rare for me to find anything worthwhile.
Sorry I can't be of more help.Comment
