Can't help much John I'm afraid. I bought the Draken from a private seller on ebay (£35) and the Patriot from a trade stand at Telford (£50) - it might have been Wonderland Models but that's from my rather poor memory.Comment

Lots of Drakens for between £35 - £40. The Eduard special is the original Hasegawa plastic with resin, PE (including colour for the cockpit) and masks.
Lots of Patriots too, but the cheapest I saw is about £90 inc. P&P, going up to about £120! That's why I almost snatched the guy's hand off at Telford last year!Comment

Picked this up on eBay. All I have to do now is wait for Atlantic Models to release their etched set.

And while we're on the subject of etched sets I also picked this up.

Me too! I have to say I was quite surprised to find how big the Colt is considering it's only a single engine jobbie. As for the MIG 31 - wow! Even in 1/48 scale it measures about 19" long with an 11" wingspan.Comment

I remember Draken as a kid when it was rather frequent in the sky above where I lived in Sweden. It was a very cool plane!
Later it was replaced with Viggen, and later on Gripen. Living close to F4 (airforce regiment) we had these planes above us often.
I've also seen Tunnan (and Lansen) flying once on an airshow but it was just before Tunnan was being decommissioned for good and put up on display. The last flying Tunnan if I remember correctly?
This is how it's been displayed ever since.
My neighbour was a fighter pilot so I once managed to score a test-flight in their combat simulator! That was really impressive - and I crashed of course... hehe... It was really hard to fly the simulator even though I skipped out on the pressure suit!
Sweden had a really impressive airforce during the cold war, even though we hadn't officially been in conflict since the 18th century, but today they are trying to rebuild it asap due to uncle Putin...
Nice haul by the way!Comment

From the Australian Model Expo-
Here is what I bought. Not too much, but some very nice pieces.
I managed to get a Brassin 1/48 Bf 109G Cockpit (brand new), a Brassin 1/48 Spitfire Mk IX Engine (still in it's original shrink wrap) and a brand new still in factory shrink wrap Eduard 1/48 Profipack Bf 110G-4, all for extremely cheap prices, less than 50% off what would normally be charged. I also got a 1/72 Revell Me 262A-1a for someone.

Just bought this Ak Interactive Aircraft Scale Modelling FAQ publication, which looks to be amazing. Quite pricey, but will provide lots of inspiration and techniques for myself
