Nothing like a glass of wine enjoyed with your wife. Glass needs filling there Tony.

Congrats Laurie. Life isn't fun if it isn't shared with someone you love for as long as possible. Keep on going and show these kids nowadays how it is done right!

                  cheers

Thanks Marcos that is very nice. As you say it pays great dividends.

3 of my four children are very happily married as well so that is a bonus and I hope Paulines & my happiness has rubbed off. Unfortunately the fourth has depression difficulties so that is not so good otherwise I am sure he would also be happily married.

If I'm not mistaken, Laurie, another nine years and you can get a telegram from the Queen. With a mere 32 years together we still have a long way to go.

With so many people enjoying such long relationships (I'm married 19yrs, been together 24 yrs) I'm wondering is there some sort of link between long relationships and modeling. - plastic modeling that is.

Lets think, we, the modelers often have to mould and shape things.

If something is not quite right, we carefully and quietly rectify the problem.

We frequently modify something, to suit our requirements.

Our models are very delicate and need to be handled most carefully.

Some models fall into place, while others need a great deal of work, we can adapt to either.

As a modeler, we communicate well.

And of course, when the instruction isn't too clear, we can interpret what the required answer should be. (You know what I mean, it's the blue or red dress question - never a right answer)

And I'm sure there are many more, but I'm only just on the first coffee of the day and so still a bit slow !
