      On the point of protective legal boiler plate, I was told of a cautious lawyer who was robbed in the street. He chased the villein, shouting "Stop, alleged thief!"

I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2013, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make our country great (not to imply that it is necessarily greater than any other country) and without regard to the race, creed, colour, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee.

          By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms:

          This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/himself or others and is void where prohibited by law, and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher.

          Disclaimer: No trees were harmed in the sending of this message (DO NOT PRINT!!!); however, a significant number of electrons were slightly inconvenienced.

          From my friend in Kent who supplies these dopy things to me on a regular basis. And Keeps me smiling.

          Well personally I get deeply offended by all forms of political correctness.....:rant::rant::cheeseygrin::cheeseyg rin:

          A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.......

            Yes Barry agreed a pet dislike as all bureaucracy a life times fight against it.

            Nearly as bad as "this call may be recorded for------" followed by diabolical music.

            Strange as posted this as just a bit of nonsense but so many greetings for Christmas. I give mine & say thanks to all those giving theirs.

              I like this quote, attributed to Stephen Fry;

              "'It's now very common to hear people say, "I'm rather offended by that", as if that gives them certain rights. It's no more than a whine. It has no meaning, it has no purpose, it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. "I'm offended by that." Well, so f*cking what?' —Stephen Fry
